That's the bow fitting that Jeff and I both are using.
I have a 5/32" forestay so that translates to a 5/16" pin. To avoid point loading the 3/8" forward hole I drilled out the 5/16" toggle to 3/8" and used a 3/8" SS pin. You could also go with a bushing if you can find one with the right inner and outer diameters. Easy to do if you are already paying shipping from mcmaster for other parts.
I decided to move back one hole for my new adjustable forestay on a 1/4" pin. Load wise there is zero issue with a 1/4" ss pin and shackle on a i550 for the forestay. And with a jib cunningham the bottom snap shackle becomes a fairlead more than a tack fitting for the jib.
