New I550 site

Postby Marino » Thu Nov 21, 2013 1:56 am

I found a web site that comes out of Croatia. Check the N-Design section and click from there.
The hulls displayed are 508,424 and 470.
There are pictures displayed of each build.
You would need to translate with Google translate or something similar.

They are most polite & friendly. A joy to deal with ... not at all like SOME of those testy louts from the land of NACA. As is most of the rest of the kind people around the world, including North America, that we hear from everyday who chose not to try to bully us.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OUR FRIENDS.

I like the Sprit arrangement on the foredeck.

Dawg's 2nd pic, the fenders looked like hull windows/ports. Had me wondering, for a second...

I looked into orange, and it's a hassle in anything bottom oriented. There's some euro stuff, or that water based Epaint, if you trust it...
Could just use topside paint for a dry sailed boat, if you don't plan to sand the foils...

Hello to all i550 builders, and those already sailing as well!

It's been a while since i wrote something here
There was no progress on my build since the end of January , untill 3 weeks ago when we started again.
What i wanted to ad here is, we got actualy 4 boats sailing here
#424 is probably the most representative one of those still not in the water, it's been built with a lot of care and precision.
#508 has started 2 months ago and has glassed decks as of this morning
beside these 6 (and us, #470) therea are (i think?) 2 starting these days.
It's a great fact that we're all within 3 hrs drive, so sailing should be fun next summer

The builds are getting more and more creative and that's at least partly thanks to you, guys!

Good stuff, glad to hear your back on the build. Sounds like you all are going to have some fun together. Get her built and post up some pics of the build for us. ;)
