Is the i550 like a Baby in a Mother's Eyes?

I finally broke my i550 plans to my wife tonight. After printing a couple of carefully chosen and printed photos from the web I googled i550 on her tablet and showed her a string of pictures. "It's not a pretty as your Soling" for one photo was followed by a burst of laughter and an "it's butt ugly" as I showed her another. I guess i550s are like babys: mothers (builders) even love the not-so-pretty ones!

It is a huge sense of accomplishment, and after spending hours building and having hands on each part. I guess they slowly become part of you, haven't seen a ugly one yet ;) but probably like everyone else who has built one, I like the one I built the best.

This Photo actually won an award at an art show and sold for more than the cost of the license and mylar templates:
Boat in fog.jpg

I spoke to one of the judges and he said that he loved the angular lines, so it's not just the mothers. . .

Outstanding, Phil!

Only, where did you ever find a roll of seamless backdrop paper that wide?
