Hi from South America!

Postby Maxi » Thu Jan 21, 2016 11:23 pm

Hi Everybody,

I'm a sailing enthusiast from Argentina and starting to give thoughts to an i550 build. I'm reading my butt off and researching before asking too many silly questions. Hopefully I'll make my mind, get courageous and make a decision soon. Best regards,
Maxi.

Hello Maxi,

Good luck with your decision. This is the right place to ask questions. Many great folks visit this forum and are able to provide unique prospectives on all aspects of building an i550. Have fun and let us know what you decide.

Hey Maxi, thanks for signing up! Looks like there are three licenses in ARG, two in Buenos Aires and one in La Plata....you all should start a one-design fleet! 8-) (Hope this link works)

Hope you decide to build one and never hesitate to ask for advice....I sure as heck used up my allotment of free advice on this forum

Maxi, Welcome. Tim, You did not mention the i550 in Brazil that still show up on the map as being in Turkey. http://i550-hull270.blogspot.com/

True, but by my reckoning, Rio D is over 1,200 miles from Buenos Aires.

I'm not sure Jerome has floated the boat, he has a new wife and a new infant baby on his hands these days! :D He's a great guy and I miss him here!
