Building a boat in just a few month is hard on the body , my lower back did not like it , really I am glad it's done .
Was out sailing yesterday 8-10 knots , the boat is fully powered up , finally put enough pre bend in the mast to flatten the mainsail so that tall rig is manageable.Huge difference . I also added 30 lb of lead in the bow to level the boat and raise the transom. The boat sails nice and quiet now , just a little rumble in the bow wake .,just loves to fall onto the chine . I took a GPS the other day the difference from sailing with a 10 degree
heal and 20 degree is about 0.3 of a knot, the boat quickly comes up to 5.8 knots up wind .
A lot more time is needed on the water , and winter is coming . It's nice sailing a dry boat, no spray hardly in the light air I am sailing .
