Is this Class Legal?

I am thinking about changing the benches. As far as i can tell it should still be class legal as the chine is still in the same place.

Yep, just the beam overall width is measured.

Some background, in case it amuses somebody. A long time ago the rule measured to the projected intersection of the deck and the hull surface, and it (brilliantly!) used a value that made any boat built to the plans illegal. The nature of the measurement also penalized radius deck edges, so if you wanted RM you used sharp edges and if you wanted comfort you used a radius. Or you added hiking ramps on top of the deck and hoped that the definition of "deck" meant the outer surface of the ramp. I (and most others) thought it was silly for the rule to make a person need to add ramps (not everybody likes the look...) to get the comfort and RM, so the rule was changed to just a simple beam measure.

Awesome! Especially caus they are already glued on! Bunch of glass and carbon are showing up for my seams keel and keep box!
