Adding Foils

Hey guys my question is this, my boat is 250kg, could you add foils to it like what the imoca 60 have?
Any ideas?

Sure, but adding the infrastructure to handle the additional loads from the lifting foils would take the weight of the boat up considerably more than 250 kg. I don't think there's a way to engineer those kinds of loads on 6mm plywood. Maybe some well-designed grid made out of CF could be tabbed into the frames and hull panels, but I am not an engineer and would never play one on television.
