Well, neither Tim nor Tim were able to make it to SPLC last year, but:

I had a nice conversation with one of the organizers and they'd love us to come down (or come up -- or come sideways) for this year's event. I just sent him my PHRF cert and some shots of the boat. We may need to enlist a VXone or SB3 to get 6 boats, but that wouldn't be too bad, I reckon.

Anyone wanna consider it? It is a very fun event....runs Sat Sun and Monday this year, in mid-July.

Great! I'll toss out some feelers. There is a local guy here who is seriously considering buying Jray's boat. I hope he does.

The VXone would owe us about 33 sec per mile, so I'm not sure that's a good point of competition. Laser SB3 is a little slower, but still kills us (114)
