As some of you have probably noticed, the pic of the week is rotated about every other week. They generally of things that I have been a part of or found posted. If you have a cool picture of your boat and will share it with me, I'd be happy to use it. Email to kevin @ esquak dot com.

Thanks, Kevin.

here's the story....
....it's a photo of my first test-sail on an i550,,down in the gorge,,where we'll be having the Cgod regatta aug3-5
...looking forward to pictures of 4-6 boats from this location--guaranteed bottom-shots too!!

,,at the moment it was taken ,I was on the helm, fiddling and futzing and nursing a breaking rudder,,
,,while thinking 'hmmm'these things are kinda pokey'
,,,,,,,,,at the same time kerry a sail-maker with north,,and LONG-time gorge sailor was exclaiming--''wow,,I've never covered the distance this FAST!!!''
...I later realized that a perspective adjustment was called for on my part.....''no,it's not as fast as a 49er,,,but yer don't get beaten-up like a skiff does either--the perfect compromise of performance, price, and gentle-ride-''...I was SOLD!!!

.........the boat and picture credit would be eric Rimkus

Feel kind of foolish asking but here goes. How do you attach photos? Been wanting to post some but haven't figured it out.

First, make sure the image is 250k or smaller. Open it in an image viewer and use its resize function, or email it to yourself (a good trick if you're tablet bound).

Below the text window, select "upload attachment"
Select "choose file", and go find the picture.
Then select "upload file"
Then choose where in your post you want to put the picture, and select "place inline".
