Thanks very much to the aptly named Noel!

I don't know about you, but I am REALLY looking forward to some down-time. Wake me up for New Years, OK?

Down Time???
I've got 3 kayaks (+3 more in the 'parts' stage) and an El Toro to finish…

I'm hoping your holiday break will be as productive as mine!

Merry Christmas to all, and wishing you all a swell season of i550 sailing (or building) in 2014!

Merry Christmas, Nice Kayaks Chad, I tried to post a photo, but could not get it to load on here,,,, HOW DO I GET PHOTOS TO LOAD?… Anyway nice kayaks, I recently completed a strip built sea kayak,,, if any of you builders are up to it, I am planning a kayaking trip to lake Powell this spring, the more kayaks the better.

i550sailor, to add a photo:

- use the "Full Editor" [the red POSTREPLY button] not the "Quick Reply" function
- click on "Upload Attachment"
- then click "choose file" and then find image from whatever directory/folder you have it stored in
- then click "Add the file"
- then click "Place inline"

it may take a second to load the file and you'll only see it in code, but anything under 2 meg should load w/o difficulties

Hi Noel,
The El Toro is my design from the hull skins inward, but the kayaks are just stock Chesapeake 17LT 's from plans from CLC.
