Please create links to our new class website on your blogs. That's one way to help improve the ranking our our website by search engines. That URL again is i550class.org. Right now i550class doesn't even return a page.

When are you going to post it on the old .org site? Just put the link on my blog, works good!

I was thinking we would announce on the .org site when we had the vision, constitution and rules sorted out. Sort of a all our ducks in a row first thing.

Then we need to get it together soon! (This includes me!)

Putting the announcement in the blogs is the same as announcing it on the .org site. Is that what you want now?

I have a link to the "class" web site on my blog that currently points to i550.org. That's what I'm changing to point to the new i550 class site. I'm not planning on posting a blog entry on the new class site on my blog. I plan to keep that blog about my boat like it has always been. I won't be pulling a Joe and post a huge political dung heap on my own blog.

Question: do you guys intend to ask Fireball Matt to remove our blog links from the i550.org site ?
İ dont think we should as this site has great traffic.
We should ask Matt to include a link to our site on the first page of www.i550.org and as Kevin mentionned put the same link on our blogs.

Talking of which, we should promote each others blog and nothing else in our respective blogs. İf we dont talk about each other amongst ourselves than who will ! Just to illustrate , some of you guys blogs do not have links to my blog.

That's a very good point Jerome! I plan to follow through soon....maybe even today. I have to get caught up, a 1.5 hr plumbing project yesterday morning found me still at it, at 10:30 that evening, still no where near done...don't even ask me how many trips to Home Cheepo and Lows.

FYI, I just updated my blog to actually point to all of the blogs like it used to. I changed my URL to point to a private one instead of blogspot.com. That was a slow transition on blogspots part. took about a day before it worked consistently. Anyway, my blog list was lost and I had to rebuild it. If I'm missing a blog one you like to read then let me know. I'll probably like to read it too and I use that list to see who is doing what. We can ask Matt to link our site once we announce it to the world. Right now I think we want to hang tight.

Yes, we should cross link to the aus site. I'll have to find a home for that in our current site map.

As for the blog link, you are already in the list.

From your blog, sign in, go to "design", then "add a gadget", in the "basic" category scroll down to "blog list". You'll need to visit each blog you want to show, to copy and paste its web address into the list.

Thanks for the reminder Chad. I need to do that for a lot of you guys. Haven't been to my blog to update it in an age.
