layout of chainplate gussets

Postby jmac » Thu Jul 19, 2012 3:35 am

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction. The websites have changed while I have been off the radar. I need the some assistance and cant find anything. I am laying out my chainplate gussets and remember seeing some posts where this was explained incl pictures (for us dummies). I am under the impression that I need to set my gussets back at an angle of 22deg from the centre of the mast base (I am going to use a C-Tech mast). Can someone confirm my intended angle and tell me where the post may be hiding. A heads up on where everything has gone would be wonderful as well.
Thanks

Kevin did up a drawing years ago for the C-Tech masts sent here to the states. If they are using the same angles for the spreader everything should be good. Welcome Back!
