Has anyone out there heard of or have used any product from a Company called RAKA inc.? Their prices for epoxy seem reasonable.

Yeah I've used their slow stuff and liked it. It's slower than West's slow, and thinner. That makes it great for wetting out cloth, and more efficient as a fairing filler- thinner epoxy takes more filler to get the desired consistency, and filler is lots cheaper and easier to sand than resin.

It's a 2:1 mix, or 43:100 by weight. I bought a gram scale and wrote a list of weight multiples where I dispense the stuff. For some reason I always goof up the 2-stoke versus 1-stroke pump method.

The slow cure can take more than overnight to reach a hard, sandable cure. Great for adding another wet-on-green layer, not good if you're in a hurry. Plan to add heat if you want speed.

Raka also has good prices for glass and fillers.

Another very similar resin is available from US Composites, for a few bucks less.
