Recently, someone in Croatia bought i550 plans & a hull license. The hull license clearly states that the license is for one build only.
We were rudely surprised to see that individual on a front page article of SA, saying that he was selling completed boats and kits for the i550.
We have owned the design (intellectual property) of the i550 design since 2008. These exclusive rights were conveyed to us by the designer whom we compensated for the design. We have never given up ownership of the i550 design to anyone for commercial use without prior contractural agreements.
